Salesforce is the world’s #1 Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform. Its cloud-based applications for sales, service, marketing, and many more don’t really require IT experts to build up or operate. User can simply log in and start interacting to customers in a whole new way.

Freshbooks API allows users to integrate it with other systems. Freshbooks Salesforce Integration provides the functionality where when a product is created or updated in Salesforce, an item is created in Freshbooks simultaneously. All the data is synced between the two systems. Thus updation of data on one side gets reflected automatically on the the other side. Mapping of objects takes place while integrating Freshbooks and Salesforce. For example, when a client is created in Freshbooks, instantly a contact is created in Salesforce. Similarly other objects such as Invoices in Freshbooks is mapped into Opportunity object in Salesforce, Items in Freshbooks is mapped as Product object in Salesforce, etc.

Astrea has developed an app that integrates Freshbooks and Salesforce, Freshbooks Easyconnect. The app provides the functionality to connect Salesforce with Freshbook and vice-versa. The app is simple and easy to use as it supports Point and Click graphical user interface. The App provide bi-directional sync functionality which supports multiple features of integrating Salesforce and Freshbooks. This app is also available for users in Salesforce1 Mobile app. The user can execute multiple operations using this App like “Sync Clients”, “Sync Invoices”, “Generate PDF of Invoices”, “Send an Email of Invoices”, etc, by simply selecting the particular buttons of the detail page of objects.
